Paxton House is one of the finest Palladian country houses in Britain. It houses a nationally important collection of Chippendale and Trotter furniture as well as being home to the largest picture gallery in a Scottish country house, housing over 70 paintings. It has twelve period rooms including the stunning dining room, library and drawing room. Additional attractions include boat trips down the River Tweed, 80 acres of gardens, woodland and riverside walks and tearoom.
