The UK’s biggest outdoor Ice Trail and one of York’s best loved events, will return for more family friendly fun with a range of magnificent ice sculptures transforming the city centre.

Wander through the historic streets and discover dazzling ice sculptures inspired by magic, mystery, and the weird and wonderful. Each corner reveals something new - from curious creatures to mythical marvels - in a trail bursting with enchantment. But beware... who cast the spell, and why? Follow the trail with the whole family to uncover the truth, before the magic melts away.
New for 2026! Step into the Ice Village - a brand new addition filled with family-friendly fun and themed traders offering magical delights. Just around the corner, warm up with delicious street food at the Shambles Food Court.
